The Winnipeg Saints are getting ready to participate in their third annual “Tip a Saint” event at Boston Pizza on Monday evening (Nov. 22).
Saints players will trade in their sticks for a tray as they act as servers for the third annual event at the St. Anne’s and Bishop Grandin location, which is set to benefit the Kidney Foundation of Manitoba
“We heard about it through the Kidney Foundation a few years ago, and they asked us if we wanted to participate,” says Boston Pizza GM Juan Portillo, “the customers have a good time with it.”
The interest and support has been growing over the past few years, with forty reservations plus walk-ins during last year’s event, and Portillo expects this year to be just as successful.
The event happens on Monday, November 22 at the 1919 Bishop Grandin Boston Pizza location from 5pm-9pm. Fans will be able to get an autograph and a photo with their favorite Saints player, as well as participate in a silent auction, all while supporting a great cause. Make sure you mark your calendars for what is guaranteed to be a good night!
