MJHL supports College Hockey Inc.

Tuesday, November 30, 2010

Icing competitive and entertaining teams is a priority of the MJHL, Commissioner Kim Davis says.

Another priority is developing players at the Junior A level, in order for them to make the next step to college hockey.

“The MJHL fully supports the NCAA model,” says Davis. “Our history of graduating players to the next level speaks for itself.”

It was only a few years ago when Portage Terrier grad Junior Lessard was awarded the Hobey Baker Award, given to American college’s top player.
